A RESOLUTION TO RATIFY AND CONFIRM THE
DONATION OF SEATS IN THE FORMER MUNI-
CIPAL COURTROOM TO THE DRUG RENABILI'
TATION CLINIC SUPERVISED BY DR. BEN
SHEPPARD
WHEREAS, the Municipal Court functions of the City
of Miami have been transferred to the County Court System;
and
WHEREAS, the seats in the former Municipal Courtroom
have been offered for sale by the City of Miami and no inter-
est could be generated; and
WHEREAS, it has become known that the seats can be
used by the Drug Rehabilitation Clinic supervised by Dr. Ben
Sheppard, and located in old Fire Station #2 at North Miami
Avenue and 14th Street; and
WH'dREAS, it is the desire of the City Commission to
make a contribution to the advancement of socially desirable
programs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITI OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the donation of seats in the former
Munili.pal Courtroom to the Drug Rehabilitation Clinic super-
vised by Dr. Ben Sheppard is hereby ratified and confirmed.
