A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO PAY TO
PEDRO FUNDORA, WITHOUT THE ADMISSION OF
LIAEILrTY, THE SUM OF $636.00 IN FULL
AND COMPLETE SETTLEMENT OF HIS CLAIM
AGAINST THE CITY OF MIAMI FOR ALLEGED
PERSONAL INJURIES SUSTAINED BY HIM,
UPON THE EXECUTION OF A RELEASE RELEAS-
ING THE CITY OF MIAMI FROM ALL CLAIMS
AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, the Plaintiff, Pedro Fundora, filed an action
against the City of Miami in the Circuit Court of Dade
County, bearing Number 71-11712, alleging that he had
sustained personal injuries due to alleged negligence of
the City of Miami in maintaining a street on November 3,
1970; and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the Office
of the City Attorney and said office recommends that this
claim be settled for out-of-pocket expenses in the amount
of $636.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance is hereby
authorized and directed to pay to Pedro Fundora, without
the admission of liability, the sum of $636.00 in full
and complete settlement of his claim against the City of
Miami for alleged personal injuries sustained by him,
upon the execution of a release releasing the City of Miami
from all claims and demands.
