A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO PAY TO
CLOTILWE LERMO, WITHOUT THE ADMISSION OF
LIABILITY, THE SUM OF $505.00 IN FULL
AND COMPLETE SETTLEMENT OF HER CLAIM
AGAINST THE CITY OF MIAMI FOR ALLEGED
PERSONAL INJURIES SUSTAINED BY HER,
UPON THE EXECUTION OF A RELEASE RELEAS-
ING THE CITY OF MIAMI FROM ALL CLAIMS
AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, the Plaintiff, Clotilde Lermo, filed an action
against the City of Miami in the Circuit Court of Dade County,
bearing No. 71-11713, alleging that she had sustained personal
injuries due to alleged negligence of the City of Miami in
maintaining a street on November 3, 1970; and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the Office
of the City Attorney and said office recommends that this
claim be settled for out-of-pocket expenses in the amount of
$505.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance is hereby
authorized and directed to pay to Clotilde Lermo, without
the admission of liability, the sum of $505.00 in full and
complete settlement of her claim against the City of Miami
for alleged personal injuries sustained by her, upon the
execution of a release releasing the City of Miami from all
claims and demands.
