A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO EDWARD W. ABBOUD
WITHOUT THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE
SUM OF $17.27 IN FULL AND COMPLETE
SETTLEMENT OF ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS
AGAINST THE CITY OF MIAMI, UPON THE
EXECUTION OF A RELEASE RELEASING THE CITY
OF MIAMI FROM ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, EDWARD W. ABBOUD filed a claim against the
City of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $17.27
on or about February 26, 1973 when his automobile struck a
concealed metal object in an authorized parking area at the
City Police Station, 1145 Northwest llth Street, in the City
of Miami, and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office
of the City Attorney and said office recommends that this
claim be settled for the sum of $17.27
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is
hereby authorized to pay to EDWARD W. ABBOUD without the
admission of liability, the sum of $17.27, in full and complete
settlement of all claims and demands against the City of Miami,
upon the execution of a release releasing the City of Miami
from all claims and demands.
