A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO THE UNIVERSITY PEDLRAL
SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION WITHOUT THE
ADMISSION OP LIABILITY, THE SUM OF $90.00
IN FULL AND COMPLETE SETTLEMENT OP ALL
CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE CITY OF
MIAMI, UPON THE EXECUTION OE' A RELEASE
RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI FROM ALL CLAIMS
AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, THE UNIVERSITY FEDERAL SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION
filed a claim against the City of Miami for damage incurred in
the amount of $90.00 during the month of October, 1972, when a
City Sewer backed up into Toby's Restaurant at Southwest 12th
Avenue and 1st Street, in the City of Miami, and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office
of the City Attorney and said office recommends that this
claim be settled for the sum of $90.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is
hereby authorized to pay to THE UNIVERSITY FEDERAL SAVINGS AND
LOAN ASSOCIATION without the admission of liability, the sum of
$90.00 in full and complete settlement of all claims and demands
against the City of Miami, upon the execution of a release
releasing the City of Miami from all claims and demands.
