A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OP
FINANCE TO PAY TO GERALD L. MASON WITHOUT
THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE SUM OF
$750.00 IN FULL AND COMPLETE SETTLEMENT
OP ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE CITY
OF MIAMI, UPON THE EXECUTION OF A RELEASE
RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI FROM ALL CLAIMS
AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, GERALD L. MASON filed a claim against the City
of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $750.00 resulting
from a fall on a City sidewalk at or near Northwest 2nd Avenue
and 6th Street, in the City of Miami, on October 19, 1972, and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office
of the City Attorney and said office recommends that this claim
be settled for the sum of $750.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is
hereby authorized to pay to GERALD L. MASON without the admission
of liability, the sum of $750.00 in full and complete settlement
of all claims and demands against the City of Miami, upon the
execution of a release releasing the City of Miami from all
claims and demands.
