A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO GAIL HILLSON WITHOUT
THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE SUM OP
$58.24 IN FULL AND COMPLETE SETTLEMENT
OF ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE
CITY OF MIAMI, UPON THE EXECUTION OF A
RELEASE RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI FROM
ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, GAIL HILLSON filed a claim against the City
of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $58.24 caused
by a broken cement gutter in the street at or near 1941 S. W.
22nd Terrace, in the City of Miami; and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office
of the City Attorney and said office recommends that this claim
be settled for the sum of $58.24;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is
hereby authorized to pay to GAIL HILLSON without the admission
of liability, the sum of $58.24 in full and complete settlement
of all claims and demands against the City of Miami, upon the
execution of a release releasing the City of Miami from all
claims and demands.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 44P day of 042% , 1973.
