A RESOLUTION STATING THE INTENT OF THE CITY
COMMISSION TO JOIN WITH OTHER CITIES IN THE
DADE LEAGUE OF CITIES IN OPPOSITION TO THE
PROPOSED REPEAL OF THE UTILITY TAX AND FURTHER
SETTING FORTH ITEMS TO BE INCLUDED IN A FLYER
OR OTHER DOCUMENT TO BE DELIVERED BY CITY
SANITARIANS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City of Miami join with other
cities who are members of the Dade League of Cities to oppose
the proposed repeal of the utility tax currently being levied.
Section 2. That announcement flyers or other documents
sent forth on behalf of the City Commission of the City of Miami
and,delivered by City Sanitarians which outlines facts and figures
of the Charter Amendments proposed by this City Commission, be
included along with facts and figures as presented by the County
Manager of Metropolitan Dade County. with respect to said utility
tax.
