A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING $100,000. FROM THE
PARKS AND RECREATIONAL FACILITY BOND FUND
AS THE TOTAL COMMITMENT TO COVER ALL CITY CW
MIAMI COSTS FOR THE APPROVED CONSTRUCTION OF
THE PROPOSED MIAMI RIVER PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY,
SAID FUNDS TO BE AUTHORIZED FOR EXPENDITURE BY
THE CITY MANAGER ON A 50-50 MATCHING BASIS WITH
FUNDS FROM THE DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY FOR
THE PAYMENT OF APPROVED CONSTRUCTION COSTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the proper City Officials are hereby
authorized to allocate $100,000. from the Parks and Recreational
Facility Bond Fund as the total commitment to cover all City of
Miami costs for the approved construction of the proposed Miami
River Pedestrian Walkway, said funds to be authorized for
expenditure by the City Manager on a 50-50 matching basis with
funds from the Downtown Development Authority for the payment
of approved construction costs.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of October, 1973.
