RESOLUTION NO. 7$' 7:3
A RESOLUTION WAIVING RENTAL FEE FOR THE
USE OF THE MIAMI BASEBALL STADIUM FOR THE
FALL BASEBALL PROGRAM OF THE DOWNTOWN
CAMPUS OF THE MIAMI-DADE COMMUNITY COLLEGE
FROM SEPTEMBER 26, 1973 THROUGH NOVEMBER
21, 1973 EXCLUSIVE OF SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS
BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 2:00 P.M. AND 5:30 P.M.
UPON CERTAIN TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
WHEREAS, the administrators of the Downtown
Campus of Miami -Dade Community College have agreed with
the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation
for the City of Miami to enter into a cooperative program
of reciprocally utilizing the recreational facilities of
both the school and city; and
WHEREAS, in exchange for the school's free use
of Miami Baseball Stadium for its baseball program the
City will be able to use the school's auditorium or com-
munity rooms without charge for the City's art shows, cul-
tural events or indoor recreation program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the rental fee for the use of
the Miami Baseball Stadium for the fall baseball program of
the Downtown Campus of the Miami -Dade Community College,
hereinafter called the School, from September 26, 1973
through November 21, 1973, exclusive of Saturdays and
Sundays, between the hours of 2:00 P.M. and 5:30 P.M., upon
the following terms and conditions, be and the same is hereby
waived:

a. The charges and fees payable by the School
as set forth in the provisions of Article I of Chapter 39
of the Miami City Code are waived in their entirety but
all other applicable provisions of said Article pertaining
to the use of the Stadium remain in force and effect;
b. The School shall pay directly to the individual
a fee of $10.00 per day when an employee of the City is
assigned to render maintenance services at said Stadium
after 3:30 P.M.;
c. The School's use of the Stadium shall not
be authorized prior to, during, or after inclement weather ;1.

City without any prior notice to the School being required;
d. Upon 48 hours notice by the City to the School
in advance the use by the School of the Stadium on any date
or dates shall not be authorized.
