A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING THE SUM OF $3,000.00
PLUS COSTS OF SALE, INCLUDING RECORDING FEES,
FROM THE 1973 PARKS AND RECREATIONAL GENERAL
BOND ISSUE AS DESIGNATED FOR DEVELOPMENT OF
PARKS IN THE DOWNTOWN AREA FOR THE PAYMENT OF
THE PURCHASE PRICE FOR THE WEST 8 INCHES OF
THE EAST 15 FEET OF LOT 6, BLOCK 123, NORTH OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, PLAT BOOK B, PAGE 41, OF
THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY FROM THE
MIAMI CITY EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT SYSTEM AND PLAN.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami, by Resolu-
tion 73-641, allocated the sum of $45,719.33 from the Parks and
Recreational General Bond Issue for the purchase of the property
known as 46 West Flagler Street, and
WHEREAS, there exists an additional 8 inch strip which is
immediately adjacent to and east of parcel purchased previously by
virtue of Resolution 73-641, and
WHEREAS, the title to the additional 8 inch strip of property
is held by the City of Miami, and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami desires to purchase the additional
8 inch strip of property for the purpose of providing additional
park. area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the sum of $3,000, plus costs of sale,
including recording fees, be allocated from the 1973 Parks and
Recreational Bond issue as designated by development of the parks
in the downtown area for the payment of the purchase price of the
property immediately adjacent to and east of that property known
as 46 West Flagler Street and more particularly described as:
West 8 inches of the east 15 feet of Lot 6, Block, 123,
north of the City of Miami, Plat Book B, Page 41,
Records of Dade County.
