e\ .It ESOLUT1ON_APPROVJNG THE RENEWAL OF TIIE
ADVER TISING AND PUBLICITY AGREEMENT BETWEEN
METROPOLITAN DADE COUNNTY AND TIIE CITY OF
MIAMI FOR A JOINT CITY AND COUNTY PUBLICITY
AND ADVERTISING PROGRAM FOR THE 19'73-1974 FISCAL
YEAR, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT, EFFECTIVE
OCTOBER 1, 1973, AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO
FORWARD A COPY OF THIS RESOLUTION AND THE RE-
NEWAL AGREEMENT TO THE CLERK OF THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF METROPOLITAN DADE
COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami and Metropolitan Dade County have
heretofore entered into joint publicity and advertising programs since
1960; and
WHEREAS, such agreements have been renewed annually pursuant
to appropriate resolution, and it is the recommendation of the City Manager
that it be renewed for the 1973-1974 fiscal year;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIIE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida,
hereby approves the proposed Renewal Agreement for Joint City and County
Publicity and Advertising Program between Dade County and the City of Miami.
A copy of raid Renewal Agreement is attached hereto and rnacle a part of this
rr solution.
S•::c!tion C.. Ti e City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorifcd
arul directed to execute the Renewal Agreement provided for in Section 1
thereof on behalf of the City of I��liairii, ant! effective October 1, 1973.

Section 3. The City Clerk is directed to forward a copy of this
resolution and the executed Renewal Agreement to the Clerk of the Board
of County Commissioners of Metropolitan Dade County, Florida.
