A RESOLUTION APPROVING A ONE (1) YEAR EXTENSION OF EMPLOYMENT
PAST THE AGE OF 70 FOR JOHN.C"; TOMICK, CARPENTER, DEPARTMENT
OF YACHT DOCKS, EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 1, 1973 TO FEBRUARY 1, 1974,
WITH THE PROVISION THAT IN THE EVENT OF A ROLLBACK OR LAYOFF,
MR. TOMICK, RATHER THAN A JUNIOR EMPLOYEE, WOULD BE AFFECTED.
WHEREAS, the Director of the Department of Yacht Docks has recommended
an extension of employment past the age of 70 for John C. Tomick,
Carpenter, Department of Yacht Docks, effective February 1, 1973 to
February 1, 1974, and
WHEREAS, the City Physician has determined that the physical condition
of said John C. Tomick is satisfactory for continued employment; and
WHEREAS, the Civil Service Board has unanimously recommended the
approval of employment past the age of 70 for said John C. Tomick for an
additional year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIIE CONNISSION OF THE CITY OF

MIAMI, FLORIDA!

Section 1. A one (1) year extension of employment past the age of 70
for John C. Tomick, Carpenter, Department of Yacht Docks, effective
February 1, 1973 to February 1, 1974, is hereby approved, with the pro-
vision that in the event. of a rollback or layoff, Mr. Tomick, rather
than a junior employee, would be affected.
