A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY MANAGER. TO PROVIDE $500,000 IN
THE 1973-74 FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING BUDGET
FOR THREE MODEL DAY CARE CENTERS IN THE
CITY OF MIAMI TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE •
CITY OF MIAMI PARKS AND RECREATION DEPART-
MENT, LOCATED WITHIN THE LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, AND TO SERVE RESIDENTS OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI OF ALL SOCIO-ECONOMIC
LEVELS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
That the City Manager be, and he is, hereby authorized
and directed to provide $500,000 in the 1973-74 Federal
Revenue Sharing Budget for three model day care centers in
the City of Miami to be administered by the City of Miami
Parks and Recreation Department, located within the limits
of the City of Miami, and to serve the residents of the City
of Miami of all socio-economic levels.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of September, 1973.
