A RESOLUTION SETTING THE POLICY OF THE CITY
COMMISSION THAT FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING FUNDS
SHALL BE USED FOR GOVERNMENTAL ORIENTED SER-
VICES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC AS A WHOLE
AS OPPOSED TO CHARITABLE HELP FOR THE BENEFIT
OF GROUPS OF INDIVIDUALS
WHEREAS, the City of Miami is the recipient of Federal
Revenue Funds and,
WHEREAS, it is desirous that the City Commission
sets its policy for the use of such Federal Revenue
Funds other than the use of such funds for direct municipal
operations,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
That the City Commission of the City of Miami does
hereby set its policy for the use of Federal Revenue Sharing
Funds other than for municipal operations as follows:
The policy of the CiLy Commission is that Federal
Revenue Sharing Funds shall be used for governmental
oriented service& fog: the benefit of the public as a
whole as opposed to charitable help for the benefit of
groups of individuals.
