YS 6 9/ A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING THE ADDITIONAL SUM OF $1,472,902.00 FROM THE SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF LEJEUNE GARDENS SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5315 C (CENTERLINE SEWER) AND SR-5315 S (SIDELINE SEWER); ACCEPTING THE BID OF INTERCOUNTY CON- STRUCTION CORPORATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,337,412.50 SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT THEREFOR AFTER RECEIPT OF AFORESAID CONCURRENCE. :Zu WHEREAS, bids were received January 11, 1973 by the City Commission for construction of LEJEUNE GARDENS SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5315 C (CENTERLINE SEWER) AND SR-5315 S (SIDELINE SEWER), and the lowest bid (acceptable) was submitted in the amount of $1,337.412.50 by Intercounty Construction Corporation; and WHEREAS, funds to cover the cost of this work including project and incidental expenses are available for allocation from the Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 43344 passed and adopted March 16, 1972 the amount of $25,000 was allocated from the Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund to cover preliminary and advertising expense; and WHEREAS, subject to concurrence by the Environmental Protection Agency the City Manager recommends that contract be awarded to Intercounty Construction Corporation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: vim' • '"' �Q% 36 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 z.3 34 35 Section 1. That the additional sum of $1,472,902.00 be, and it is hereby allocated from the Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund to cover the contract, project and incidental expenses of the construction of LEJEUNE GARDENS SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5315 C (centerline sewer) and SR-5315 S (sideline sewer). Section 2. Subject to the concurrence by the Environmental Protection Agency, the bid submitted on January 11, 1973 by Intercounty Construction Corporation in the amount of $1,337,412.50 for Alternate Bid Proposal be, and the same is hereby accepted. uA of Section 3. Upon receipt of concurrence from the Environmental Protection Agency, the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract on behalf of the City with Intercounty Construction Corporation for the construction of LEJEUNE GARDENS SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5315 C (centerline sewer) and SR-5315 S (sideline sewer).
