BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Sect cn ] Section 56-133 of the Miami Code is amended as col. Registration Fee; Expiration of License. ]. .-rr.y applicant for registration as a chauffeur s'!,i1 pay an annual fee of four dollars for such cl.:'J tration. 2. r,.:ccpt for licenses originally issued during the month of September, every chauffeur registration license which expires October 31, 1973 is extended and valid without any additional license fee until midnight of the last day of the month in which the license was originally issued as the same appears o: said license, unless said date falls on Sunday or a holiday, in which case the license shall ex- pire on the next Monday or the day following the holiday. Licenses originally issued in September shall expire October 31, 1973 and if renewed shall expire on October 31 of each consecutive year un- less said date falls on a Sunday or a holiday in which case the license shall expire on the next Mcnday or the day following the holiday. All original licenses and all renewal licenses issued subsequent to October 31, 1973 shall be issued as provided in this section upon application or pro- cedure prescribed in Article V and prepayment of the fees prescribed in this section and Section 56-134. 1 3. All renewals for chauffeur registration licenses after October 31, 1973 shall be renewed during the month in which the license was originally issued and shall be renewable during that month as provided in this section and upon compliance with the provisions of §56--134. All renewal Licenses issued prior to September 1, 1974 shall be for one year and shall expire on midnight of the last day of the month in which the license was originally issued. 4. Every applicant for an original chauffeur regis-• t.rc-tion license who is entitled to issuance of same, as provided in this Article, shall be issued a one-year iicene which will expire one year from the month in which the license was originally issued at midnight of the last day of said month. Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure on the ground of urgent public need for the preservation of peace, health, safety, and property in the City of Miami. Every applicant for registration as a chauffeur shall pay an annual fee of four dollars for such registration. 2. Except for licenses originally issued during the month of September, every chauffeur registration license which expires October 31, 1973 is extended and valid without any additional license fee until midnight of the last day of the month in which the license was originally issued as the same appears on said license, unless said date falls on Sunday or a holiday, in which case the license shall ex- pire on the next Monday or the day following the holiday.
