FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Section 39-13. 1, golf course green fees and other
rate.. and ,^'..a?•gee, be ropealed by deleting Section 39-13. 1 of the Miami
City Codes and substituting a new Section 39-13. 1 therefor, to read as
follow :
"Sec. 39-•13. 1. Golf course green fees and other rates and charges.
.Annual pre -paid golf course green fees for single
person - $300; for head of family plus one - $350; for head
of family and each additional dependent under eighteen years
of age, family rate plus $30 per dependent under eighteen
years of age; for junior members under eighteen years of
age - $85. Annual green fees paid on or after November 1
of each year shall be the fee established above plus ten
percent. For purposes of definition a family shall include
one man, wife and children (living with parents, unmarried,
and not having reached their eighteenth birthday)."

at. one-half the regular green fees and one-half of the established
;iiinual pre -paid green f'es. Proof of residency within the City
of Mia.rni Springs shalt be required upon payment of the green
fee: ;.
8, 1-Janc1 cart rental fees shall be seventy-five cents per round;
City -owned electric carts shall be three dollars and seventy-
five cents for nine holes or seven dollars and fifty cents for
eighteen holes from November 15 of each year to May 15 of
the following; year, inclusive; and from May 16 through
November 14 the rate will be two dollars and seventy-five
cents for nine holes and five dollars and fifty cents for
eighteen holes.

9, Electric carts which are privately owned shall be permitted
on the course for a fee of one dollar and fifty cents."
Section 2. Any person violating the provisions of Section 1 of this
ordinance shall be fined or imprisoned, or both fined and imprisoned, in
accordance with Section 3 (aa) of the Charter of the City of
Miami (Chapter 10847, Acts of Florida, 1925, as amended) and Section 1-6
of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida.
Section 3. it is declared to be the legislative intent of this body
that if any section, subsection, sentence, phrase or provision of this
Ordinance it he1:i invalid, the remainder of the Ordinance shall not be
affected.
`ectivn 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency -
measure Oil 'ze grr and of urgent public need for the preservation of
peace, :ei:lth, safety and property in the City of Miami.
Section 5. The requirement of reading this Ordinance on two
separate d<<yq is hereby dispensed with by a vote of not less than four -
fifths of the Members of the City Commission.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Section 39-13.1, golf course green fees and other
rates and charges, be repealed by deleting Section 39-13.1 of the Miami
City Code and substituting a new Section 39-13. 1 therefor, to read as
follows:
"Sec. 39-13.1. Golf course green fees and other rates and charges.
1. Annual pre -paid golf course green fees for single
person - $300; for head of family plus one - $350; for head
of family and each additional dependent under eighteen years
of age, family rate plus $30 per dependent under eighteen

residents of the City for daily playing from November 15
in any year through May 15 of the following year inclusive
shall be five dollars and fitly cents per person, and for
the remainder of each and every year green fees shall be
three dollars and fifty cents per person.
3. Twilight green fees (for play commencing after 3:30 P. M. )
for the period beginning November 15 of any one year through
May 15 of the following year shall he three dollars for residents
and non-residents of the City. Twilight green fees (for play
commencing after 3:00 P. M. ) for the period beginning May 16
through November 14 inclusive shall be two dollars for
residents and non-residents of the City.
4. For purposes of encouraging junior players to play golf,
green fees for players under eighteen years of age shall be
one-half of the regular green fees with the exception of
Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
5. The green fees for the use of golfing facilities described
herein shall be available to all City employees at one-half
of the regular green fees or one-half of the annual pre -paid
green fees as set forth herein. Retired City employees who
are beneficiaries under the provisions of the City Retirement
System and Plan shall have the use of such facilities on
Saturdays, Sundays and holidays at one-half the regular green
fees; however, on weekdays such beneficiaries shall be allowed
free use of City -owned golf courses.
6. Green fees for the use of City -owned golf courses shall
be available to senior citizens sixty-two years of age or over,
who are residents of the City, with the exception of Saturdays,
Sundays and holidays, at one-half the regular green fees and
one-half of the established annual pre -paid green fees. Proof
of residency within the City shall be required upon payment of
the green fees.
