A RESOLUTION APPROVING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT TO BE ENTERED INTO BETWEEN
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA AND MEL REESE AND
ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR CONSULTING SERVICES;
SETTING FORTH TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SUCH
AGREEMENT; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK AND CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO SUCH AGREEMENT ON OR
AFTER AUGUST 20, 1973 BUT PRIOR TO AUGUST 27,
1973
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the Cit
Resolution No. 73-522 passed and adopted on July has440
authorized and directed the City Attorney greement
with Mel. Reese and Associates, Inc. fo the purpos. .f performing
consultant services for the City o
WHEREAS, the proposed terms ions to be contained
in said Agreement are as follows:
a. The consulting services shall comprise the implementation
and development of pros which
are financed by
capital development
improvement funds of the Cit f Miami including but not limited to
Park and Bond Progr. , Park -or People and the Sanitary Collection
Program Ire_

Cit omm(ion of the City of Miami for which the said Commission
ideOunds.
b. The term of the Agreement shall be for two years
pon the execution of the Agreement. Payment shall be
25,000 per annum for up to 1,000 hours consulting services upon the
request of the City Commission.
c. The consultant shall submit billings as the consultant
are performed at the rate of $25.00 per hour.
d. The City shall furnish all information, data, reports
and records necessary for the consultant to perform his services.

e. The consultant and its employees shall have the right
to express their views freely and without restriction to any and all
parties including the news media their private and personal opinions
on any and all matters relating to the City of Miami.
f. The consultant and its employees shall be reimbursed for
travel expenses incurred outside Dade County in accordance w
administrative guide lines of the City of Miami, Florida
g. The City is to provide suitable office
consultant for the purpose of hi g services.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESO SSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Commission hereby approves the terms
and conditions as herein presented -'
Section 2. The City Manager and the City Clerk or their
successors in office are hereby authorized and directed to enter into
an agreeme on or allr August 20, 1973 but prior to August 27, 1973
on the same terms an

been presented to the City Commission on this date.
j. In the event that Mel Reese and Associates, Inc. shall be
carrying out consulting activities for any other governmental
body or person or persons, that the first priority for the
services of Mel Reese and Associates, Inc. shall be to the
City of Miami.
