A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID RECEIVED JULY 23, 1973
OF D.M.P. CORPORATION IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF
$323,219 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CENTRAL DRAINAGE
PROJECT E-29; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $362,005 FROM
THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "STORM SEWER BOND FUNDS"; AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
THEREFOR
WHEREAS, bids were received July 23, 1973 for the
construction of Central Drainage Project E-29; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of D.M.P.
Corporation in the estimated amount of $323,219 is the lowest bid
(acceptable) and recommends that contract be awarded to said company;
and
WHEREAS, funds to cover the cost of this project are
available from the account entitled "Storm Sewer Bond Funds".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid of D.M.P. Corporation received
July 23, 1973 for the construction of CENTRAL DRAINAGE PROJECT E-29,
namely Total Base Bid of Proposal, excluding Addendum No. 1 (Item 39A),
based on unit prices, at a total estimated cost of $323,219, be
accepted.
Section 2. That the amount of $362,005 be, and it is
hereby, allocated from the "Storm Sewer Bond Funds" account to cover
the cost of the project entitled CENTRAL DRAINAGE PROJECT E-29,
Section 3. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to enter into a contract in behalf of the
City of Miami for the construction of CENTRAL DRAINAGE PROJECT E-29,
PASSED AND ADOPTED this ` day of BOG 1973.
