A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID RECEIVED JULY 23, 1973
OF FENCE MASTERS, INC. IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF
$7,060 FOR THE EDISON AND WYNDWOOD PARKS - BASEBALL
BACKSTOPS - 1973; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $7,907
FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "PUBLIC PARKS & RECREA-
TIONAL FACILITIES BOND FUND"; AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT THEREFORE
WHEREAS, bids were received July 23, 1973 for the
EDISON AND WYNDWOOD PARKS - BASEBALL BACKSTOPS - 1973; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of
Fence Masters, Inc. in the estimated amount of $7,060 is
the only bid and it is acceptable, and recommends that
contract be awarded to said company; and
WHEREAS, funds to cover the cost of this project are
available from the account entitled "Public Parks & Recrea-
tional Facilities Bond Funds".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid of Fence Masters, Inc. re-
ceived July 23, 1973 for EDISON AND WYNDWOOD PARKS - BASEBALL
BACKSTOPS - 1973, namely Base Bid of Proposal, based on lump
sum bid, at a total estimated cost of $7,060 be accepted.
Section 2. That the amount of $7,907 be, and it is
hereby, allocated from the Public Parks & Recreational
Facilities Bond Fund account to cover the cost of the pro-
ject entitled EDISON AND WYNDWOOD PARKS - BASEBALL BACKSTOPS
1973.
Section 3. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to enter into a contract in behalf
of the City of Miami for EDISON AND WYNDWOOD PARKS - BASEBALL
BACKSTOPS - 1973.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24 day of CMS' 1973.
