A RESOLUTION GRANTING A "CONDITIONAL USE" AS PROVIDED IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE XV, SECTION 2 (8) (b) , TO PERMIT CONSTRUCTION OF GREYHOUND BUS TERMINAL ON LOTS 1 THRU 5, AND 16 THRU 20, BLOCK 22N, MIAMI (B-41), LOCATED AT APPROXIMATELY 950 N. E. 2ND AVENUE, SUBJECT TO REVISED SITE PLAN SHOWING A 6' SOLID TEXTURED MASONRY WALL ON THE SOUTH HALF OF THE WEST PROPERTY LINE, WITH A 3' LANDSCAPED AREA ALONG THE ENTIRE WEST PROPERTY LINE, SCREENING OF TRASH FACILITIES AND A DETAILED LANDSCAPE PLAN; MAKING THE NECESSARY RIGHT-OF-WAY DEDICATIONS ON N. E. 10TH STREET AND 2ND AVENUE, ZONED C-4 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT AND C-5 ('LIBERAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT. • rs WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Miami, at its meeting held on July 9, 1973, passed and adopted by a 9 to 0 vote its Resolution No. 73-152, recommending granting a "conditional use" as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article XV, Section 2(8) (b) , as hereinafter set forth; and this Commission deems it advisable to the public convenience and welfare and finds that the use will not be detrimental or injurious to the character or the development of the immediate neighborhood; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the application for a "conditional use" as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article XV, Section 2(8)(b), to permit construction of Greyhound Bus Terminal on Lots 1 thru 5, and 16 thru 20, Block 22N, MIAMI (B-41), located at approximately 950 N. E. 2nd Avenue, subject to revised site plan showing a 6' solid textured masonry wall on the south half of the west property line, with a 3' landscaped area along the entire west property line, screening of trash facilities and a detailed landscape plan; making the necessary 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 J 0 31 32 33 34 35 36 right-of-way dedications on N. E. l0th Street and 2nd Avenue; zoned C-4 (General Commercial) District and C-5 (Liberal Commercial) District, be and the same is hereby granted. Section 2. This conditional use shall become null and void unless the use is commenced within six months of the effective date of this Resolution. Upon application, the City Manager may, after review and determination that substantial progress has been achieved by the applicant in terms of project planning, extend the expiration date of the conditional use for an additional period of time not to exceed one (1) year. Said extension request shall be filed with the City Manager two (2) weeks prior to the expiration date of the initial six (6) months effective period of the conditional use. E. 2nd Avenue Lots 1 thru 5, and 16 thru 20, Block 22N, MIAMI (B-41) Applicant: Greyhound Lines The Miami Planning Board, at its meeting of July 9, 1973, Item #1, following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No. 73-152 by a 9 to 0 vote recommending "Conditional Use" as list- ed in Ordinance No. 6871, ARTICLE XV, Section 2 (8) (b), to permit construction of Greyhound Bus Terminal on Lots 1 thru 5, and 16 thru 20, Block 22N, MIAMI (B-41), located at approxi- mately 950 N. E. 2nd Avenue, subject to revised site plan show- ing a 6' solid textured masonry wall on the south half of the west property line, with a 3' landscaped area along the entire west property line, screening of trash facilities and a detail- ed landscape plan; making the necessary right-of-way dedications on N. E. loth Street and 2nd Avenue; zoned C-4 (General Commercial) and C-5 (Liberal Commercial). No written objections were received in the mail.
