A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED
CONSTRUCTION OF MARKS BROTHERS COMPANY
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CORAL WAY SOUTH
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4354 IN CORAL WAY
SOUTH HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
H-4354, AND AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT
OF $15,458.46.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated January 16, 1973
between the City of Miami and Marks Brothers Company for the
construction of CORAL WAY SOUTH HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4354;
and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed and
Marks Brothers Company has furnished the required documents
certifying that all bills for labor, materials, etc. have been
paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Com-
mission on July 26, 1973 to hear any objections to the com-
pleted improvements and no objections were sustained; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends that
the completed work be accepted and final payment made to the
Contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the completed work performed by Marks
Brothers Company under contract dated January 16, 1973 for
the construction of CORAL WAY SOUTH HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4354
in CORAL WAY SOUTH HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4354, be and
the.sarr.e is hereby accepted at a total cost of $154,584.61.

Section 2. That the proper officials of the City of
Miami are hereby authorized and directed to pay Marks Brothers
Company a balance of $15,458.46 as full and final payment for
all work performed and all materials furnished in connection
with the contract for CORAL WAY SOUTH HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT
H-4354.
