A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO
MR, WALTER ETLING AND THE MEMBERS OF THE
MAYOR'S COMMITTEE ON PARKS AND RECREATION
FOR THE EFFORTS WHICH THEY HAVE EXPENDED IN
CONNECTION WITH THE PROPOSED TRANSFER OF THE
CITY'S PARKS AND RECREATION FACILITIES TO
METROPOLITAN DADE COUNTY, AND INSTRUCTING
THE PROPER OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
TO PREPARE A SUITABLE RESOLUTION TO BE
PRESENTED TO MR. ETLING AND THE MEMBERS OF
THE COMMITTEE AT A FUTURE MEETING Ur' THE
CITY COMMISSION
BE IT RESOLVED I3Y THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
That the Commission does hereby express its appreciation
to Mr. Walter Etling and the memiJers of the Mayor's Committee on
Parks and Recreation for the efforts which they have expended
in connection with the proposed transfer of the City's Parks and
Recreation facilities to Metropolitan Dade County; and that the
proper official of the City of Miami be, and they are, hereby
.instructed to prepare a suitable resolution to be presented to
Mr. Etling and the members of the committee at a future meeting
of the City Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of July, 1973.
