A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING P ND DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER TO THE MOTOR-
OLA CORPORATION FOR 25 RECEIVER TRANSMITTER
CRYSTALS AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED $1,100; THIS IS
NOT AN EMERGENCY PURCHASE.
WHEREAS, the Governor's Council on Criminal Justice awarded the City
of Miami Grant No. 72-21-08 to establish a criminal investigation radio
channel, and
WHEREAS, Grant No. 72-21-08 provides funds in the amount of $1, 100
for the purchase of 25 receiver transmitter crystals, and
WHEREAS, evaluations have been conducted on sample crystals furnished
by various suppliers, and
WIIEREAS, Motorola Corporation has supplied the only suitable crystals;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to issue
a purchase order in an amount not to exceed $1, 100 for the purchase of 25
receiver transmitter crystals from the Motorola Corporation.
