A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF CLARKE FLOOR
MACHINE COMPANY RECEIVED JUNE 18, 1973 FOR
FURNISHING ONE SELF-PROPELLED AIR VACUUM SWEEPER
FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION
AT A TOTAL COST OF $4,565.25, AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO CAUSE A PURCHASE ORDER TO BE
ISSUED FOR SAME; ALLOCATING $4,565.25 FROM PARK
AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES BOND FUND TO COVER
THE COST THEREOF.
WHEREAS, bids were received on June 18, 1973 for furnishing one
self-propelled air vacuum sweeper for use by the Department of Parks
and Recreation; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of Clarke
Floor Machine Company at a total cost of $4,565.25 be accepted as
the bid most advantageous to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid of Clarke Floor Machine Company,
received June 18, 1973, for furnishing one self-propelled air
vacuum sweeper for use by the Department of Parks and Recreation,
at a total cost of $4,565.25, is hereby accepted, and the City
Manager is authorized and directed to cause a purchase order to be
issued for same.
Section 2. That $4,565.25 is hereby allocated from the Park
and Recreational Facilities Bond Fund to cover the cost thereof.
