A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
MAY 25, 1973 FOR FURNISHING CASTABLE
REFRACTORIES FOR USE BY THE SANITATION
DEPARTMENT FROM DeMOTT'S BOILER AND
BURNER SERVICE, INC, OF MIAMI, FLORIDA,
AT A TOTAL COST OF $5,584.00; AND AUTHOR-
IZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING DIVISION TO ISSUE
PURCHASE ORDER THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, bids were received by the City Manager and
City Clerk on May 25, 1973 for furnishing castable refrac-
tories for use by the Sanitation Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of
DeMOTT'S BOILER AND BURNER SERVICE, INC. is the lowest and
best bid (acceptable) and recommends that said bid be
accepted, and the Department of Sanitation concurs with
this recommendation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid of DeMOTT'S BOILER AND BURNER
SERVICE, INC. for furnishing castable refractories for use
by the Sanitation Department, at a total cost of $5,584.00,
be and the same is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to instruct the Purchasing Division to issue purchase
order for the items described in Section 1 hereof.
