RESOLUTION NO. wVIS"INSWV
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO SUBMIT A FEDERAL GRANT APPLICATION TO
THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, LAW ENFORCEMENT
ADMINISTRATION, TO CONTINUE FOR THE FOURTH
YEAR A PROJECT ENTITLED "ORGANIZED CRIME
FIGHTING TEAM PROJECT", AND FURTHER AUTHOR-
IZING THE CITY TO ACCEPT THE GRANT AND EXE-
CUTE CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS NECESSARY TO
IMPLEMENT THE PROJECT IN ANTICIPATION OF
THIS PROGRAM.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager be authorized to
submit a Federal Grant Application to the Department of Justice,
Law Enforcement Administration, to continue for the fourth year
a project entitled "Organized Crime Fighting Team Project".
Section 2. That the City Manager is further authorized
to accept the Grant and execute contracts and agreements necessary
to implement the project in anticipation of approval of this
program, and subject to receipt of the Federal Funds.
