HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-73-05391 3 4 5 6 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 'u'c.9 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 RHT/cc 7/2/73 RESOLUTION NO. ?$� '3 A RESOLUTION GRANTING A "CONDITIONAL USE" AS PRU.'DED IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE VI, SECTION 1 (4-A), TO PERMIT CONSTRUCTION OF PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT ON LOTS 10 AND 11 AND N 1/2 LOT 9, AND E 75' OF S 1/2 OF LOT 9, BLOCK 1, ALLAMANDA GARDENS (6-72), LOCATED AT APPROXIMATELY 3255 ALLAMANDA STREET, CONSISTING OF 6 UNITS IN 3 STRUCTURES AS PER PLAN, SUBJECT TO DEDICATION OF RIGHT-OF-WAY ON ALLAMANDA STREET; ZONED R-2 (TWO-FAMILY) DISTRICT. WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Miami, at its meeting held on June 25, 1973, passed and adopted by a 9 to 0 vote its Resolution No. 73-138, recommending granting a "conditional use" as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article VI, Section 1 (4-A) , as hereinafter set forth; and this Commission deems it advisable to the public convenience and welfare and finds that the use will not be detrimental or injurious to the character or the development of the immediate neighborhood; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the application for a "conditional -,ise" as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article VI, Section 1 (4-A), to permit construction of Planned Unit Development on Lots 10 and 11 and N 1/2 Lot 9, and E 75' of S 1/2 of Lot 9, Block 1, ALLAMANDA GARDENS (6-72), located at approximately 3255 Allamanda Street, consisting of 6 units in 3 structures as per plan, subject to dedication of right-of-way on Allamanda Street, zoned R-2 (Two -Family) District, be and the same is hereby granted. • • Pi, 73•r3 't �:;� ; 3 Sir C 4 5 6 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 .9 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 Section 2. This conditional use shall become null and void unless the use is commenced within six months of the effective date of this Resolution. Upon application, the City Manager may, after review and determination that substantial progress has been achieved by the applicant in terms of project planning, extend the expiration date of the conditional use for an additional period of time not to exceed one (1) year. Said extension request shall be filed with the City Manager two (2) weeks prior to the expiration date of the initial six (6) months effective period of the conditional use. City of Miami, Florida Re: Gentlemen: • June 28, 1973 y "CONDITIONAL USE" - RECOMMENDED Approx. 3255 Allamanda Street Lots 10 and 11 and Nh Lot 9, and E 75' of Sh of Lot 9, Block 1, ALLAMANDA GARDENS (6-72) Applicant: Ralph Aaron 9- The Miami Planning Board, at its meeting of June 25, 1973, Item 41, following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No. 73-138 by a 9 to 0 vote recommending "Conditional Use" as listed in Ordinance No. 6871, ARTICLE VI, Section 1 (4-A), to permit con- struction of Planned Unit Development on Lots 10 and 11 and N1 Lot 9, and E 75' of S1 of Lot 9, Block 1, ALLAMANDA GARDENS (6-72), located at approximately 3255 Allamanda Street, consisting of 6 units in 3 structures as per plan, subject to dedication of right-of-way on Allamanda Street; zoned R-2 (Two -Family). Three objections were received in the mail.
