A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI EXERCISING ITS
OPTION TO RENEW FOR AN ADDITIONAL SEASON ITS AGREEMENT
WITH ANDY-FRAIN-FLORIDA, INC. TO FURNISH CROWD CONTROL
SERVICES AT THE ORANGE BOWL STADIUM FOR THE 1973-1974
MIAMI DOLPHIN FOOTBALL SEASON, BEGINNING AUGUST 1, 1973
AND ENDING JANUARY 31, 1974, AT THE SAME RATES AS
ESTABLISHED FOR THE 1972-1973 SEASON; AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY CLERK TO EXTEND
THE OPTION OF THE EXISTING AGREEMENT IN ORDER TO
EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City of Miami hereby exercises its option
to renew for an additional season its agreement with Andy Frain -
Florida, Inc. to furnish crowd control services at the Orange Bowl
Stadium for the 1973-1974 Miami Dolphin football season, beginning
August 1, 1973 and ending January 31, 1974, at the same rates as
established for the 1972-1973 season.
Section 2. The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized
and directed to extend the option of the existing agreement in order
to effectuate this resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2, day of June, 1973.
