A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ACTION TAKEN BY THE
CITY MANAGER IN THE SUBMISSION OF AN INTERGOVERN-
MENTAL PERSONNEL ACT OF 1970 FEDERAL GRANT
APPLICATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $22, 500 TO INITIATE A
PROJECT ENTITLED "LABOR RELATIONS OFFICER" AND
FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT
THE GRANT AND EXECUTE CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS
NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT THE PROJECT UPON RECEIPT
OF THE GRANT,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the action taken by the City Manager in the submission
of an Intergovernmental Personnel Act of 1970 Federal Grant Application
to initiate a project entitled "Labor Relations Officer" is hereby confirmed.
Section 2. That the City Manager is further authorized to accept a
Federal Grant in the amount of $22, 500 and execute contracts and agreements
necessary to implement the project upon receipt of the Grant.
