A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ACTION TAKEN BY THE
CITY MANAGER IN THE SUBMISSION OF A FEDERAL GRANT
APPLICATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND
URBAN DEVELOPMENT IN THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF
$55, 000 TO INITIATE A PROJECT ENTITLED, "INTEGRATED
MUNICIPAL INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI"
AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT
THE GRANT AND EXECUTE CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS
NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT THE PROJECT UPON RECEIPT
OF THE GRANT.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the action taken by the City Manager in the
submission of a Federal Grant Application to the Department of Housing
and Urban Development to initiate a project entitled, "Integrated
Municipal Information System for the City of Miami" is hereby confirmed.
Section 2. That the City Manager is further authorized to accept
the Grant in the additional amount of $55, 000 and execute contracts and
agreements necessary to implement the project upon receipt of the Grant.
