A RESOLUTION ORDERING SHENANDOAH HIGHWAY IMPROVE-
MENT, SECTION A, H-4362; DESIGNATING PROPERTY
AGAINST WHICH SPECIAL ASSESSMENT SHALL BE MADE
FOR A PORTION OF THE COST THEREOF AS SHENANDOAH
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, SECTION A, H-4362;
AND ALLOCATING THE SUM OF $2,000.00 TO COVER PRE-
LIMINARY COSTS.
WHEREAS, the area between S.W. 8 Street and S. W. 22
Street, between S.W. 27 Avenue and S.W. 17 Avenue is in-
cluded in the 1972-76 Capital Improvement Program as Project
No. 137, Shenandoah Highway Improvement, and
WHEREAS, the pavement surface and the subgrade base of
several streets in this area have deteriorated to the point
that rebuilding is necessary and this rebuilding will in-
clude widening of the pavement, providing drainage facilities
and construction of curb and gutter,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. A local improvement described as SHENANDOAH
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT, SECTION A, H-4362 is hereby ordered
under Section 56 of the Charter of the City of Miami, Florida,
as amended, on:

S.W. 25 Avenue between S.W. 16 Street and S.W. 19 Street,
which IMPROVEMENT shall include clearing and grubbing of
street right of way, construction of a maximum 46-foot wide,
8-inch thick limerock base, and 1-inch thick Type I asphaltic
concrete surface course maximum 46-foot wide, construction
of concrete curbs and gutters, necessary intersection and
returns, drainage structures and sodding.
Section 2. This IMPROVEMENT shall be designated in
all proceedings and assessments as SHENANDOAH HIGHWAY IMPROVE-
MENT, SECTION A, H-4362 and the property against which
special assessments shall be made for a portion of the cost
thereof, hereunder shall be designated as SHENANDOAH HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, SECTION A, H-4362.
Section 3. The sum of $2,000.00 is hereby allocated
from the Highway Bond Fund for preliminaryC�expense.
