A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE DESIRE OF THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI THAT NONE OF THE
DADE COUNTY BOND FUNDS ALLOCATED FOR PARK PUR-
POSES BE USED FOR IMPROVEMENTS AND/OR EXPANSION
OF THE ORANGE BOWL STADIUM, AND THAT NO AD
VALOREM TAXES OF THE CITY OF MIAMI OR DADE COUNTY
BE USED FOR SUCH PURPOSES, EITHER DIRECTLY OR
INDIRECTLY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
That it is the desire of the City Commission of the City
of Miami that none of the Dade County bond funds allocated for
park purposes be used for improvements and/or expansion of the
Orange Bowl Stadium, and that no ad valorem taxes of the City of
Miami or Dade County be used for such purposes, either directly
or indirectly.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of June, 1973.
