RESOLUTION NO. 73 yrd.
A RESOLUTION ACCLr i'1NG THE BID RECEIVED
MAY 29, 1973 OF CHAN W. BAKER, FOR
FURNISHING FIVE THOUSAND (5,000) POUNDS
OF LAWN GRASS SEED MIXTURE, AND AUTHOR-
IZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING AGENT OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI TO ISSUE PURCHASE ORDERS, AS RE-
QUIRED, AFTER FIRST HAVING DETERMINED
THAT FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE.
WHEREAS, bids were received on May 29, 1973 by the City
Manager and City Clerk for furnishing five thousand (5,000) pounds
of lawn grass seed mixture for the City of Miami Parks Department,
of the type and price indicated below; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of Chan
W. Baker is the lowest and best bid and recommends that the same
be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received May 29, 1973 of Chan W.
Baker for furnishing five thousand (5.,'000) pounds of lawn grass
seed mixture for the City of Miami Parks Department at the total
cost of $2,730.00, be and the same is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to instruct the Purchasing Agent of the City of Miami to
issue purchase orders, as required, fcr the purchasing of the
item described in Section 1 above, after first having determined
that funds are available.
