RESOLUTION NO. 7.�•
A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING $846,000.00
PURSUANT TO THE ORDER OF TAKING FOR
THE CRIME PREVENTION AND POLICE FACILITIES
BUILDING IN THE DOWNTOWN GOVERNMENT
CENTER, AND CONFIRMING THE ACTIONS OF
THE CITY MANAGER IN ADVANCIUG THE
MONEY TO BE DEPOSITED IN THE REGISTRY
OF THE CIRCUIT COURT PURSUANT TO THE
ORDER OF TAKING.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 72-456, dated July 20,
1972, authorized the filing of eminent domain proceedings
for the acquisition of land for the Crime Prevention and
Police Facilities Building; and
WHEREAS, Case No. 73-788 in the Circuit Court
of the eleventh judicial circuit in and for Dade County,
Florida, City of Miami vs. Marjorie E. Wilson, et al.,
was filed pursuant to Resolution No. 72-456; and
WHEREAS, the Court in the above styled case
entered its Order of Taking ordering the City of Miami to
deposit in the registry of the Court the sum of $846,000.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the amount of $846,000.00 be
appropriated from the Crime Prevention and Police Facilities
Bond Fund for payment in the registry of the Court pursuant
to the Order of Taking entered by the Court on May 25, 1973.

Section 2. That the action of the City Manager
of the City of Miami in advancing the money to be deposited
in the registry of the Court pursuant to the Order of Taking
is ratified and confirmed.
