A RESOLUTION RATIFYING AND CONFIRMING THE
ACTION OF THE CITY MANAGER IN RECEIVING AND
OPENING BIDS TO FURNISH LUNCHES FOR THE 1973
SUMMER SPECIAL FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM FOR
CHILDREN, AND TO FURTHER AUTHORIZE THE
AWARDING OF THE BID TO LANDSHIRE OF FLORIDA,
INCORPORATED, THE LOW BIDDER MEETING ALL
BID SPECIFICATIONS AT A COST OF 52 CENTS PER
LUNCH AND NOT TO EXCEED $71, 136.
WHEREAS, the City Clerk received sealed Bids on May 18, 1973,
for the furnishing of lunches as required by the Summer c-?ecial Food Service
Program for children residing in the City of Miami and;
WHEREAS, the lowest acceptable Bid received was submitted by
Landshire of Florida, Incorporated and;
WHEREAS, funds are provided by the United States Department of
Agriculture through the Florida State Department of Education.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the action of the City Manager in receiving and
opening Bids to furnish lunches for the 1973 Summer Special Food Service
Program for Children is hereby ratified and confirmed.
Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized the awarding
of the Bid to Landshire of Florida, Incorporated, the low Bidder meeting all
Bid specifications at a cost of 52 cents per lunch and not to exceed $71, 136.
