RESOLUTION NO. 73-448B
A RESOLUTION URGING THE GOVERNOR OF THE
STATE OF FLORIDA TO BRING UP AT A CABINET
MEETING THE MATTER OF A REQUEST OF THE
FLORIDA STATE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE
TO USE CERTAIN SCHOOL FACILITIES DURING THE
SUMMER MONTHS WHEN THEY ARE NOT IN USE FOR
EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION
OF A PROGRAM ENTITLED "NUTRITION EXPANDED"
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
That the Governor of the State of Florida be, and he
is, hereby urged to bring to the attention of his cabinet members
the matter of a request of the Florida State Department of
Agriculture to use certain school facilities during the summer
months when they are not in use for educational purposes for the
implementation of a program entitled "Nutrition Expanded".
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of June, 1973.
