A RESOLUTION URGING THE DADE COUNTY BOARD
OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION TO GIVE FAVORABLE CON-
SIDERATION TO A REQUEST BY THE FLORIDA STATE
DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE TO USE CERTAIN SCHOOL
FACILITIES DURING SUMMER MONTHS WHEN THEY ARE
NOT IN USE FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES FOR IMPLE-
MENTATION OF A PROGRAM ENTITLED "NUTRITION
EXPANDED"
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
That the Dade County Board of Public Instruction be, and
it is, hereby urged to give favorable consideration to a request
by the Florida State Department of Agriculture to use certain
school facilities during summer months when they are not in use
for educational purposes for implementation of a program entitled
"Nutrition Expanded".
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of June, 1973.
