1973 AND ENDING OCTOBER 25, 1973, FOR THE. USE FEE
OF THE ESTABLISHED TRANSIENT RATE FOR. THE DiS-
PL.ACED VESSELS THAT WILL USE MIAMARINA TO DERTH
TIiEIR BOATS DURING THE PERIOD THE M_IAM‘,:I DINNER
I'E Y BOAT SHOW IS IN PROGRESS, PLUS S1,764.00 FOR
TE-IE RENTAL OF PIER FIVE, PLUS ALL APPLICABLE
TAXES
WHEREAS, the Dinner Key Boat Show has requested the use of the
Dinner Key Marina Pier Five, adjacent to the Dinner Key Exposition Hall for
the annual Miami Dinner Key Boat Show during the period October 18, 1973
through October 25, 1973, and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami has entered into a formal contract with
the. Miami Dinner Key Boat Show for the use of Dinner Key Marina Pier Five,
in 1970, 1971 and 1972, and
WHEREAS, the Dinner Key Boat Show has paid the City _ 1, 7600 for
the rental of Pier Five, plus the established transient rate for the displaced
vessels that use Miamarina to berth their boats during the period the Miami
Dinner Key Boat Show was in proress.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CQ.N.IMISS_ON OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA;
Section 1. That the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to enter into a contract with the Miami Dinner Key Boat Show to
use the facilities of entire Pier Five, Dinner Key Marina, for the period
beginning October 18, 1973 and ending October 25, 1973, for the use fee of
I , 764. 00, and allowing the Miami Dinner Keay Boat Show r•.J sub -use such
pert of the facilities as it may desire.
