W. 7TH STREET, SL JECT TO APPROVAL OF A REVISED SITE PLAN."tY THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT, INCORPORATING A LANDSCAPED AREA ON THE STREET'`'FRONTAGE OF S. W. 8TH STREET, AND ENQLOSURE OF THE SITE WITH A SOLID, TEXTURED MASQI(RY WALL FIVE (5) FEET HIGH, THE PARKING LOT TO BE CLOSED AFTER 10:00 P.M., SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH LIGHTING REQUIREMENTS OF ORDINANCE NO. 8115 FOR ING LOTS, PROPERTY ZONED R-1 (ONE- ILY) DISTRICT. WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Miami, at its meeting held on May 7, 1973, passed and adopted by a 7 to 1 vote its Resolution No. 73-108, recommending granting a "conditional use" as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article V, Section 1(6)(b), as hereinafter set forth; and this Commission deems it advisable to the public convenience and welfare and finds that the use will not be detrimental or injurious to the character or the development of the immediate neighborhood; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section'1. That the application for a"conditional use" as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article V, Section 1(6)(b), to permit off-street parking on Lots 19 and 20, Block 6, CORAL NOOK (8-115), located at 3044 S.W. 7th Street, subject to approval of a revised site plan by the Planning Department, incorporating a landscaped area on the street frontage of S.W. 8th Street,,and enclosure of the site with a splid,textured masonry wall five (5) feet high, with the p7rking lot to be closed, after 10:00 P.M., property zoned R-1 (One -Family) District, be and the same is hereby granted. • I f t ./fr'eY 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 .19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 s30 31 32 33 34 35 36 Section 2. The conditional use granted herein is subject to compliance with the lighting requirements for parking lots as set out in Ordinance No. 8115 of the City of Miami, dated November 16, 1972. Section 3. This conditional use shall become null and void unless the use is commenced within six months of the effective date of this Resolution. Upon application, the City Manager may, after review and determination that -substantial progress has been achieved by the applicant in terms, of project planning, extend the expiration date of the conditional use for an additional period of time not to exceed one (1) year. Said extension request shall be filed with the City Manager two (2) weeks prior to the expiration date of the initial six (6) months effective period of the conditional use. W. 7th Street and Lot to the East Lots 19 and 20, Block 6, CORAL NOOK (8-115) Applicant: Sorrento Restaurant Gentlemen: The Miami Planning Board, at its meeting of May 7; 1973, Item #3, following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No. 73-108 by a 7 to1 vote (one member absent) recommending "Conditional Use" as listed in Ordinance No. 6871, ARTICLE y, Section 1 (6) (b), to permit off-street parking on Lots 19 and 20, Block 6, CORAL NOOK (8-115), located at 3044 S. W. 7th Street, subject to approval of a revised site plan by the Planning Department, incorporating a land- scaped area on the street frontage of S. W. 8th Street, and enclos- ure of the site with a solid, textured masonry wall five (5) feet high, the parking lot to be closed after 10:00 P. M., property zoned R-1 (One -Family).
