A RESOLUTION URGING THE BOARD OF COMMIS-
SIONERS OF DADE COUNTY AND THE DEPARTMENT
OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT OF METRO-
POLITAN DADE COUNTY TO TAKE IMMEDIATE STEPS
TO DO ALL POSSIBLE TO EFFECT CONNECTION TO
NEWLY CONSTRUCTED SANITARY SEWERS IN THE
CITY OF MIAMI OF ALL PERSONS WHO HAVE NOT
CONNECTED TO SAID SEWERS DUE TO ECONOMIC
AND OTHER REASONS, AND TO ADVISE SAID PERSONS
OF THE VARIOUS AVENUES OF FINANCING, AND POS-
SIBLE OUTRIGHT GRANTS TO EFFECT SUCH CONNECTIONS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
That the Hoard of Commissioners of Metropolitan Dade
County and the Department of Housing and Urban Development of
Metropolitan Dade County be, and they are, hereby urged to take
immediate steps to do all possible to effect connection to newly
constructed sanitary sewers in the City of Miami of all persons
who have not connected to said sewers due to economic and other
reasons, and to advise said persons of the various avenues of
financing such connections, and possible outright grants to ef-
fect such connections.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of June, 1973.
