RESOLUTION N0. 60
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID RECEIVED MAY 18,
1973 OF CARL J. HOENES, INC. IN THE ESTIMATED
AMOUNT OF $28,776 FOR THE ORANGE BOWL - N.W.
RESTROOM ADDITION - 1973; AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT THEREFOR
WHEREAS, bids were received May 18, 1973 for the ORANGE
~- BOWL - N.W. RESTROOM ADDITION - 1973; and
WHEREAS, funds to cover the cost of this and other work
were appropriated by Ordinance No. 8140, adopted February 22,
1973; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of
Carl J. Hoenes, Inc. in the amount of $28,776 is the lowest
bid (acceptable) and recommends that contract be awarded to
said company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED B1' THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1, that the bid of Carl J. Hoenes, Inc.
received May 18, 1973 for the ORANGE BOWL - N.W. RESTROOM ADDITION -
1973, namely Base Bid of Proposal, based on lump sum bid, at a
total estimated cost of $28,7?6 be, and it is hereby, accepted.
Section 2. That the City Manager be authorized and
directed to enter into a contract in behalf of the City of Miami
for the ORANGE BOWL - N.W. RESTROOM ADDITION - 1973.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this day of 1973.
