AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 6871,
THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR
THE "CITY OF MIAMI , BY CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF THE EASTERLY 150' OF
LOT 19, VIRGINIA PARK SUB (10-43) , SUBJECT
TO DEDICATION OF THE NECESSARY RIGHT-OF-WAY,
LOCATED AT NORTHWEST CORNER OF N. E. 82ND
STREET AND N. E. 2ND COURT FROM R-2
(TWQ-FAMILY) TO C-2 (COMMUNITY GENERAL)
DISTRICT; AND BY MAKING THE NECESSARY
CHANGES IN THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP MADE
A PART OF SAID ORDINANCE NO. 6871 BY
REFERENCE AND DESCRIPTION IN ARTICLE III,
SECTION 2, THEREOF; AND BY REPEALING ALL
LAWS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.

WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board of the City
of Miami, at its meeting held on April 23, 1973, passed and
adopted by Resolution No. 73-93 b1, a 8 to 1 vote, recomm~nring
granting a change in zoning classification, as hereinaft~•r
set forth; and

of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its inhabitant.,
to grant a ci~ange ii7 zoning classification, as hereinafter
set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE'~IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 6871, the Comprehensive

hereby amended y changing the zoning classification of the
Easterly 15 of Lot 19, VIRGINIA PARK SUB (10-43), subject
to dedic ion of tt~e necessary right-of-way, located at
North est corner N. E. 82nd Street and N. E. 2nd Court from
R- (Two-Family) to C-2 (Comm.snity Commercial) District;
'and by snaking the necessary changes in the zoning district

description in Article III, Section 2, thereof.

Section 2. That all laws, o~ parts of laws, in

conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed

insofar as the above described Land is involved.

Section 3. It is declared to be the legislative
8
intent of this body that if any section, subsection, sentence,
9
phrase or prevision of this Ordinance is held invalid, thA
10
remainder of~the Ordinance shall not be affected.
