A RESOLUTION GRANTING A PETITION FOR
A PLANNED AREA DEVELOPMENT TO BE LOCATED
ON FORMAN SUB (90-99), at 2920 N. W.
18TH AVENUE, PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO.
6871, ARTICLE XXI-1, TO PERMIT CON-
STRUCTION OF COMMUNITY CENTER FOR THE
ELDERLY IN CONJUNCTION WITH PROJECT
KNOWN AS THREE TOWERS; ZONED R-4
(MEDIUM DENSITY MULTIPLE) DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Board of
the City of Miami, at its meeting on April 23, 1973,
passed and adopted by a 9 to 0 vote its Resolution No.
73-191, recommending granting a Petition for a Planned
Area Development pursuant to Ordinance No. 6871, Article
XXI-1, as hereinafter set forth; and this Commission deems
it advisable in the interest of the general welfare of
the City of Miami to grant this Petition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Petition for a Planned Area
Development pursuant to Ordinance No. 6871, Article XXI-1,
to be located on FORMAN SUB (90-99), at 2920 N. W. 18th
Avenue, to permit construction of Community Center for the
Elderly in conjunction with project known as Three Towers,
zoned R-4 (Medium Density Multiple) District, be and the
same is hereby granted.

Applicant: Rakman Development
The Miami Planning Board, at its meeting of April 23, 1973, Item
#9, following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No. 73-101
by a 9 to 0 vote recommending Petition for a Planned Area Develop-
ment to be located on FORMAN SUB (90-99), at 2920 N. W. 18th Avenue,
as per Ordinance No. 6871, ARTICLE XXI-1 to permit construction of
Community Center for the Elderly in conjunction with project known as
Three Towers; zoned R-4 (Medium Density Mulitple).
No objections were received in the mail.
A RESOLUTION to provide for this Planned Area Development has been
prepared by the City Attorney's office and submitted for considera-
tion of the City Commission.
