A RESOLUTION GRANTING A "CONDITIONAL
USE", AS PROVIDED IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871,
ARTICLE V, SECTION 1(6)(b), TO PERMIT
OFF-STREET PARKING ON LOTS 5 AND 6,
BLOCK 2, GOLF COURSE PARK (43-3),
LOCATED AT 4216 and 4226 N. W. 6TH
STREET, NOT TO BE USED FOR REQUIRED
PARKING, IN CONJUNCTION WITH OFFICE
BUILDING LOCATED AT 550 N. W. 42ND AVENUE,
SITE ZONED R-2 (TWO-FAMILY) DISTRICT;
AND COMPLYING WITH THE LIGHTING REQUIREMENTS
FOR PARKING LOTS AS SET OUT IN ORDINANCE
NO. 8115.
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Board
of the City of Miami, at its meeting held on April 9,
1973, passed and adopted by a 8 to 0 vote its Resolution
No. 73-91, recommending granting a "conditional use" as
provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article V, Section 1(6)(b),
as hereinafter set forth; and this Commission deems it
advisable to the public convenience and welfare and finds
that the use will not be detrimental or injurious to the
character or the development of the immediate neighborhood;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the application for a"conditional
use" as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article V,
Section 1(6)(b), to permit off-street parking on Lots 5
and 6, Block 2, GOLF COURSE PARK (43-3), located at
3216 and 4226 N. W. 6th Street, not to be used for required
parking, in conjunction with office building located at
550 N. W. 42nd Avenue, site zoned R-2 (Two-FAmily), be
and the same is hereby granted.
Section 2. The conditional use granted herein
is subject to compliance with the lighting requirements
for parking lots as set out in Ordinance No. 8115 of the
City of Miami, dated November 16, 1972.

Section 3. This conditional use shall become
null and void unless the use is commenced within six months
of the effective date of this Resolution. Upon application,
the City Manager may, after review and determination that
substantial progress has been achieved by the applicant
in terms of project planning, extend the expiration date
of the conditional use for an additional period of time
not to exceed one (1) year. Said extension request shall
be filed with the City Manager two (2) weeks prior to
the expiration date of the initial six (6) months effective
period of the conditional use. / -7���-y�

Gentlemen:
The Miami Planning Board, at its meeting of April 9, 1973, Item
#9, following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No. 73-91
by an 8 to 0 vote recommending "Conditional Use" as listed in
Ordinance No. 6871, ARTICLE V, Section 1 (6) (b), to permit off-
street parking on Lots 5 and 6, Block 2, GOLF COURSE PARK (43-3),
located at 4216 and 4226 N. W. 6th Street, not to be used for re-
quired parking, in conjunction with office building located at
550 N. W. 42nd Avenue, zoned R-2 (Two -Family).
No objections were received in the mail.
A RESOLUTION to provide for this "Conditional Use" has been pre-
pared by the City Attorney's office and submitted for considera-
tion of the City Commission.
