A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID RECEIVED APRIL 23,
1973 OF DMP CORPORATION IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT
OF$165,737.30VOR THE MARTIN LUTHER KING BOULEVARD -
STORM DRAINAGE PROJECT - 1973; ALLOCATING THE
AMOUNT OF $185,625FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "STORM
SEWER BOND FUND"; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT THEREFOR
WHEREAS, bids were received April 23, 1973 for the
MARTIN LUTHER KING BOULEVARD - STORM DRAINAGE PROJECT - 1973; and
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $ 185,625 are available
for allocation from the account entitled "Storm Sewer Bond Fund";
and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of
DMP Corporation in the estimated amount of$165,737.30 is the
lowest bid (acceptable) and recommends that contract be awarded
to said company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA
Section 1. That the bid of DMP Corporation
received April 23, 1973 for the MARTIN LUTHER KING BOULEVARD -
STORM DRAINAGE PROJECT - 1973, namely Base Bid of Proposal,
based on lump sum bid, at a total estimated cost of $ 165,737.30
be accepted.
Section 2. That the amount of $185,625 be allocated
from the account entitled "Storm Sewer Bond Fund".
Section 3. That the City Manager be authorized and
directed to enter into a contract in behalf of the City of Miami
for the MARTIN LUTHER KING BOULEVARD -STORM DRAINAGE PROJECT 1973.
