RESOLUTION NO. 24"'AP
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RE-
CEIVED APRIL 10, 1973 OF ASSOCIATED
FILMAKERS INTERNATIONAL, INC. FOR
DUBBING A SPANISH SOUND TRACK TO
FILM "THE SUN IS ALIVE AND LIVING
IN MIAMI", AND AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO IN-
STRUCT THE PURCHASING AGENT OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI TO ISSUE PURCHASE
ORDERS, AS REQUIRED, AFTER FIRST
HAVING DETERMINED THAT FUNDS ARE
AVAILABLE.
WHEREAS, bids were received on April 10, 1973 by the
City Manager and City Clerk for dubbing a Spanish sound track to
the 16 mm 14-minute color film "The Sun is Alive and Living in
Miami" for the City of Miami Department of Publicity and Tourism;
and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of As-
sociated Filmakers International, Inc. is the lowest and best bid
and recommends that the same be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received April 10, 1973 of Associated
Filmakers International, Inc., for dubbing a Spanish sound track to
the 16mm color 14-minute film "The Sun is Alive and Living in Miami"
for the City of Miami Department of Publicity and Tourism for a
total cost of $2,103.00, be and the same is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to instruct the Purchasing Agent of the City of Miami to
issue purchase orders for the purchasing of the service described in

Section 1 above, after first halving determined that funds are
available.
