A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PLAT ENTITLED
e KAKOURIS HEIGHTS, A SUBDIVISION IN THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA; AND ACCEPTING THE
DEDICATIONS SHOWN ON SAID PLAT; AND
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE
PLAT.

WHEREAS, The City Planning and Zoning Board and
the Department of Public Works have recommended the acceptance
of the plat; and
WHEREAS, On September 21, 1972, the City Commission
passed and adopted Resolution No. 72-554 closing for public
use that portion of S.W. 33rd Avenue 140 feet south of
West Trade Avenue in conjunction with Tentative Plat
No. 772-A, designated as KAKOURIS HEIGHTS;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Plat entitled KAKOURIS HEIGHTS,
being a replat of LOT 24, EWAN PEACOCK SUBDIVISION, P.B.
1, P. 195, and Lots 1, 2, 8, 9 and 10, Block 1, BIRDIX
SUBDIVISION, P.B. 26, P. 27, Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, City of Miami, Dade County, Florida, which by
reference is made a part hereof as if fully incorporated
herein and the dedications as shown thereon together with
all existing and future plantings, trees and shrubbery on
said property, to the perpetual use of the public be, and
the same are, hereby accepted and confirmed by the
City of Miami, Florida.

Section 2. That except for the construction of
those improvements provided for in the Agreement entered
into between the Owner and the Director of the Department
of Public Works on behalf of the City of Miami, Florida,
dated March 20, 1973, the requirements of Chapter 54,
Section 54-20, Code of the City of Miami, Florida and
State law as to improvements to be made in subdivisions
be and the same are, hereby expressly waived.
Section 3. That of all other requirements of
State law concerning the posting of a Performance Bond for
the construction of improvements, that portion pertaining
to the maintenance of said improvements be, and the same
is hereby expressly waived.
Section 4. That the requirements of State law
and the Code of the City of Miami, Florida as to
improvements to be made in subdivisions be, and the
same are hereby expressly waived.
Section 5. That the requirements of State
law concerning the showing of grades of rights -of -way
on the Plat be, and the same are, hereby expressly
waived.

Section 6. That the City Manager and the
City Clerk, both of the City of Miami, Florida, be and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
the Plat.
