FOR THE SALE OF 195 FIREARMS OF VARIOUS MAKES AND CALIBERS CONFISCATED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF POLICE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI AT A TOTAL SALES PRICE OF $1,553.32 SUB- JECT TO THE CONDITION THAT SAID FIREARMS BE DISPOSED OF OUTSIDE THE LIMITS OF THE UNITED STATES AND PROVIDING THAT SATIS- FACTORY PROOF OF THE INTENTION AND ABILITY TO FULFILL THE AFORESAID CONDITION SHALL BE FURNISHED TO THE CITY MANAGER PRIOR TO THE DELIVERY OF SAID FIREARMS. WHEREAS, bids were received by the City Manager and City Clerk on February 21, 1973 for the sale of 195 firearms confiscated by the Police Department of the City of Miami; and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of Century Arms, Inc. was the best acceptable bid received and recommends the sale of said firearms subject to the terms and conditions hereinafter provided; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the bid of Century Arms, Inc. for the sale of 195 firearms of various makes and calibers confiscated by the Police Department of the City of Miami at a total sales price of $1,553.32, be, and the same is hereby accepted. Section 2. That the sale of firearms as provided in Section 1 hereof is subject to the condition that said firearms be disposed of outside the limits of the United States and satisfactory proof of the intention and ability to fulfill the aforesaid conditions shall be furnished to the City Manager prior to the delivery of the firearms. Section 3. That the City Manager shall require such other acts to be done by Century Arms, Inc. as he deems in the best interest of the citizens'of the City of Miami.
